Ultimate X-Men #86

Ultimate X-Men #86
Publisher: Marvel
Writer: Robert Kirkman
Pencils: Yanick Paquette
Inks: Serge Lapointe & Karl Story
Ah the "Ultimate" universe, meh. Yet another fine example of why I chose to call this blog 616. AS usual with an ultimate title the art is fantastic and the story is just a half-assed rehash of pieces of 616 stories set in the universe of 90210. The only thing missing is The Peach Pit.
I wouldn't even have read this if not to rip it apart in this review. I know that there are alot of people who really dig the ultimate titles and that it has no bearing on 616 so it shouldn't irritate me but still, it does. I'll get my multiverse fix from What If.
In short, if you like this title buy it. If you have never read an ultimate title and are looking for a good read, give t a shot. If you're like me however and enjoy well developed characters and storylines that are so long that you lose track of where they start (and hate 90210) skip this.
